Merry Christmas!

Shannon and Tracy spend Christmas Eve morning with the girls, prepping them for spending the night alone in the apartment. Both bunny and bird got extra treats and pellets for the long night. Kiwi was not very happy when Shannon and Tracy left for Sunnyvale.

After a wonderful Christmas Eve night of present-opening and and roast, Shannon went to bed a happy girl. In the morning, she went for a bike ride, trying out her new tri shoes and clipless pedals, and managed not to fall off her bike.

Luckily for Kiwi and Cindy, Shannon drove back to Berkeley Christmas Day! Kiwi was very happy to see Shannon and chirped cheerfully all afternoon. After Shannon cooked her lunch, Kiwi sat on Shannon's shoulder and they watched The Right Stuff together. Kiwi did seem more excited about flying around the room and clambering around on Shannon than the film.

Shannon tried to get treats for the girls, but Andronico's and the Bowl were both closed. The dried fruit and peppers will have to wait until tomorrow. Sorry Kiwi and Cindy!
