On the evening of the 20th of December, Dorothée visited the creatures again...
They recoginzed the sounds of the key in the lock and started talking (Dorothée could'nt hear Cindy but is sure she was talking too)! they were happy to have a visitor for the second time today.
Kiwi had eaten half the seeds from the biggest pepper, and didn't seem to like the tiny super Hot Habanero pepper... maybe she doesn't like things that hot afterall....
Both creatures were fed and their water changed (although , once again, only one of them had pooped in her water).
Then Kiwi and Dorothée hung out and watched TV. They didn't really know waht to watch, started with Ratatouille, but Kiwi had seen it already. Then Man vs Wild, but there was a big snake and Kiwi got scared. Then they decided to watch House (Kiwi has a crush on the blond Doctor I think, she seems to like his accent), for a bit.
While watching TV, Kiwi got bored, and decided to provide some entertainment for Dorothée. First, she thought that pooping inside Dorothée's sleeve would be funny, this way Dorothee wouldn't be able to take it out without spreading it all over her arm, and would have to take her hoodie off. They had a good laugh. Then, she found out that Dorothée's hair had to be the most comfortable place on Earth (because Anna wasn't around, and also because Anna cut her hair). She took her time to settle underneath it, it must have been very warm... she was chirping as if she was about to fall asleep. But then Dorothée stood up, and Kiwi woke up. She tried to resist going to bed, but she was just pretending to be difficult.
Once the green creature was going to bed, Dorothée and Cindy had a little chat, and the haye and the hairy water were changed, the pellets and the fresh whatever green that was, were fed to the soft creature.
And then Dorothée left the two new friends again, hoping she'd come and say Hi to them before Christmas.
Everybody can be happy, Mommies, bunny and Kiwi, everything was taken care of by Dorothy.

Dear Dorothee,
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for being such a great caretaker of the little creatures! I'm sure they were very happy to have you around. I can't wait to get home to them tomorrow. Vegas was not very nice to us (particularly mean to my Dad) but he's off for one last try at the Sun Coast across the street. Hopefully this last $200 lasts a while!
Love,
Shannon
everyone picking on kiwi for pooping in her water ... ;) and jay says he feels for you dorothee for having kiwi poop inside your shirt. that's what bbphoques and jay's are for!!!! she must have been confused. thank you so very much for taking such good care of the creatures!!!!!
ReplyDeleteand poor shannon! i'm sorry that vegas was mean to you ... just means you have to go back soon. :) how were your cousin's children? the new baby? and maybe your dad won big with those last 200?!?!?
here it is VERY cold. we got back from skiing (where it didn't snow) to over a foot of snow in boston ... jay and anke's boyfriend pamo shoveled all the snow off the driveway and jay lost his ring in the snow ... so we unshoveled all the snow they had shoveled last night looking for the ring but didn't find it. :( there was talk of renting a metal detector but didn't find a place that was open. :( so the pookie is wedding ring less ... and a little broken hearted about the lost ring. i guess we have to wait until spring when all the snow melts. my sister's response was that that was a nice try but he won't get rid of me that easily. which is true. :) so those have been our adventures ... good skiing, lots of snow, and a lost wedding ring.
Poor little lost wedding ring! That's possibly the saddest thing ever.
ReplyDeleteThe $200 lasted a little bit longer than the many 100s before it, but alas it was also lost. We still had a good time though.
